The world below

Taken while snorkelling around the small Apo Island in the Philippines, the area was full of turtles. I was considering whether to submit a photo without a person or with. I think that the snorkeler puts things in perspective a little, so I decided to submit this one. Happy to have an underwater shot here on 1X. :)

In my opinion it was an excellent decision from you to submit an image with the person in the frame also Mitchell.
Great to see the difference in size between the snorkeler and the Turtle.
It's a very beautiful image with that most wonderful light shining through the water surface hitting the Turtle and the bottom wonderfully.
Excellent work. Thanks for sharing.

Mitchell Kanashkevich Thanks. A couple of folks didn't get my point during screening, but I feel that the person adds enough and is subtle enough at the same time to deserve to be in the image. I had quite a few other shots of the turtle without the person, but I definitely felt that this one worked best. It just gives the image a tiny layer of depth.
