Thanks everyone for the comments. This picture was made in the Sabi Sand game reserve in South Africa. I'm on Safari there at the moment. I don't have the picture with me here so I'll go check which lens I used once I'm back in civilization. The image was made from a vehicle late one afternoon as this female leopard made her way to the top of an anthill. The Sabi Sand reserve is the best place to photograph leopard in the world. We have seen up to ten different leopards during one drive.

Considering the length of the lens used and the viewpoint, you cannot have been very far away from the animal ...were you in a hide perhaps, underground??

The Jaguar has to be my favourite of the big 5 so elegant & so elusive I saw a tail passing through the trees in Botswana but that was it! When in Kruger a ranger got killed by one on a night drive he didn't follow the rules & paid the price! I am packing my bag & on the next plane...I wish. Great to see this & with 2 on the FP you are going down a storm.
