Well done on another fine publication Mal the solitary figure in the landscape is often regarded as an overworked cliche but hey I like cliches when they work & this does because the connection of the prone figure with what may transpire or may not as Chris points our is enough to add a bit of tongue in cheek humour especially with the folded arms that almost suggest resignation to a surf free day!
Mal Smart  His folded arms were a bonus Gerry. I'm not sure whether on my arrival this chap was at the end of a great days surfing or indeed was displaying a displeasure at a rather disappointing looking surf at the start of his day. All I can comment upon is that he did wander off the beach shortly after this shot in a rather disgruntled manner, I guess I will never know. All the best Gerry. mal
