Excellent photo. Two critical notes -- fwiw.

The hot-lit hair coming from behind the neck (picture left) distracts both formally and semantically.

The title ("Mourning") is unnecessary, and since included, unhelpful. If "mourning" is the subject, it will have to be communicated by the photograph. A more helpful title might be "Bereaved", or "Bereft", or "Daughter, 29 September 2010". Personally, I don't find the image entirely compelling as a correlative object for "Mourning". There is something both more and different in the symbiosis of the subject's expression, the subject's attire, and the artist's handling of the image.
