I used different layers which were treated with motion blur effect filter (that's what is responsible for the main effect). A lot of different fine adjustments also :-)

Gefällt mir sehr gut, ich versuche gerade solche Effekte mit unterschiedlichen Motiven beim Fotografieren zu erzielen, sehr harter Job und wahrscheinlich wird es nie so weich werden. Aber dein Ergebnis ist so wie es ist einfach mal sehr eindrucksvoll. Grüße Claudia

Kameraschwek-Bilder habe ich auch einige gemacht, allerdings Natur und nicht Architektur. Mit Stativ und fein schwekbarem Kopf müsste das auch gehen. Nachbearbeiten am PC bringt jedoch weitaus bessere Möglichkeiten auf Details Einfluss zu nehmen.
Claudia Termeer  Ja, nach deiner Anregung weiter unten hab ich auch schon direkt probiert, vor allem ist es am PC in diesen Tagen trocken und warm:-), aber ich versuche da meinen eigenen Weg finden und hatte die letzten 2 Jahre kaum Zeit. Mit Landschaft hab ich es auch schon probiert, mir hat es auch gefallen. - Probieren, probieren heißt die Devise. Du hast aber im Augenblick bei diesem Bild eine punktuelle Schärfe, die mir sehr gefällt, die ich aber bisher dann eher ( zu meinem eigenen Erstaunen) über das Wischen mit der Cam bekomme, nicht am PC.... - Dafür hab ich eine der besten Skylines Europas in zu Fuß-Entfernung;-), wird schon werden. Geduld ist gefragt und tut mir als Ausgleich auch gut. LG Claudia

Since already some time you can observe that modern art paintings show more and more realistic trends, such that you could believe it is a photo. On the other side you, Peter, demonstrate with this picture in a dramatic way that photography to all intents and purposes can concur with this kind of ART (in the real sense of the word "concur" which means acting together in a positive way). wonderful, i would just like to see a little more on the left, it seems to me as it is cut in "the middle" if you know what i mean.
i still like it non the less, though!

The scene is not cut in the middle. To the left you would see a slim bridge over the water but no more buildings (except those very tiny in the background). So all what's more on the left side was not a good base for applying the movement effect (IMHO). But I have shots with more of the left side area at home on my hdd :-)

Quite good! PS or camera motion or both? Inquiring minds want to know. I have tried camera motion with something like this in mind, but never got anything usable that way.
KPK  Thanks, Martin. Movement is exclusively a postwork effect. With a camera mounted on a tripod it should be possible to achieve a similar effect. Three different layers used for this image.

nice one peter. I love the effect you achieved in the white and red buildings in the middle. that small detail detaches this image from any silly motion blur ps effect and it makes the difference.
