Incredible texture !
You have probably spent a lot of time before finding the exact exposure time to have such a great movement and also a perfectly intelligible picture !

David Orias Thanks. I kind of stumbled upon the exposure time which isn't much of a secret. The harder part is finding locations that pick up the dawn light nicely.

Thoum I didn't expect this problem, but now that you say it, it makes perfect sense !
I never see that kind of reflections because the see is west and there is a dune between the sea and the sun. The places to see that in France are really few I think :)

David Orias A north or south facing beach would provide the best geometry to pick up dawn or sunset sky reflections.

love the poetry in your photographs, and your title suggests a lot of work behind the work of art. Most folks try till wave 500 and give up ;). Your title also reminded me of Edward Weston's "Pepper # 30", I guess your vision with the waves is a tad harder to accomplish ;)
