When I saw first this photo, I thought that the white area is snow. Or it is snow and just a coincidece with the name White Sands? Very good photo!

Thanks for your kind words.The white is pure gypsum. It's an area in the south of New Mexico of 275 square mile of this pure white gypsum. It's a stunning area, go there if you have the chance.

Beautiful minimalistic composition with most wonderful dramatic sky and tones.
Love the stillness of the abandoned shelter which as it looks like stands there in the middle of no where.
