Last Saturday I was very lucky to get a visit at my hide from this top predator. Just seconds after this moment he attacked a Red squirrel. With a hell of screaming from the victim and other birds he disappeared into the forest. One of the most exciting moments I have ever seen at my hide. Yes, i have seen a lot of good pictures of sitting raptors, most of them i will forget within seconds, this one has something special, i can't tell you exactly what, perhaps one could feel the strain so short before the hit.

Great shoot, often a sitting hawk can be a little boring, but this one has great mood, background, perfect sharpness! Awesome photo Han!
