Oh, I now see that you`ve got another one with a beetle with a droplet on its back, Vic ! Do you know if it`s a coincidence or are those beetles of this specie actually carrying water to ....... ?
Anyway, it´s a great and very sharp image in good colours, Vic !
Congrats !

Regards

Henrik
Vic. Parsons.  Thank you very much Henrik! Erm, no coincidence ;-).......just thought it added a bit of something extra to the image so i tried repeating it in the second one. In later shots i've let rip with a plant sprayer too but maybe they are a bit OTT :-)
Regards
Vic.
Henrik Just  OK, Vic.
Thanks for your answer ;-))
Then you also have done a great job placing that droplet there .... it can´t have been easy ;-))
I`m teacing biologi, so of course I found these watecarrying beetles interesting ;-))

Fascinating insight into a world we hardly ever see. I am enthralled by this macro photography & this is a wonderful example of what is possible. Thank you for sharing. And I notice that a non OE lens performs to the highest standard! Terrific work.
Vic. Parsons.  Thank you very much Gerard, glad you like it and yes, the Tamron really is a superb lens! (this is the earlier non DI version)

More than wonderful........, in fact it's great!

Cheers, Harry
Vic. Parsons.  Thank you Harry.....lol....no, that one really did go on it's way and this is another one (there were loads of them crawling about in the grass) and they do seem to get themselves into all sorts of trouble :-)
Harry Eggens  So the spider exactly did know were to be :)
With that many around, one beetle more or less......, nobody knows :-)
