Jerry, A wonderful shot..I like he wide lens a lot..I had to look this up - the location - trying to understand the sand land and then a bit of green. I don't know this area of Washington or anyone from it..so I had not seen this landscape before. The play of light/shadow and that dust kicking up - is stunning..and the houses seem so tiny..Wondering if you were very high up when you shot this? :) Sorry I have missed it. Phyllis
Jerry Berry  Oops. Sorry I missed your post. Thank you Phyllis. Google Palouse and you will find many images of this area. Truly fascinating.

Looks wonderful. You must be gearing up to go.
Jerry Berry  Thanks.
But doesn't it look like I already went? :-)
Wings  You have a good point Jerry. But when we've been somewhere and we liked it. It becomes evident in how we shoot that we want to go back. Cheers. And you sir are like the caged bird waiting to spread your wings :)))
Jerry Berry  Yes. And this is a return trip as you surely know. I will go back again during a different time of year and repeat the process.
It was good to go out and shoot again. I will be headed to the slot canyons in a few weeks. Maybe I'll find something there as well.
Thanks again.

Great how the curved lines are leading the eye through the scene.
Love the most wonderful colors and play of light and shadow.
The car driving over the dusty road leaving all that dust behind does add a beautiful extra to the entire scene.
Excellent work Jerry!

Best regards, Harry
Jerry Berry  Thank you Harry. This area of Washington is amazing. I think those farmers compete to make the flowing lines most interesting during their work.
Harry Eggens  You're most welcome Jerry. My pleasure.
Just let them compete as much as they want to :-) because that's a great opportunity for you and other photographers to make great shots like this one.

Cheers, Harry
