Mal Smart Codrin, as I have commented to some below this image was a return to a style that I love that I was doing some 20 years ago and a "Homage" to true artists that I respect enormously who are currently taking this style further than I will ever do, I even considered making the title anagram of your name but could find a suitable one to go with. I guess that like minded folk find each other, very glad to have found you and your work. mal

You have to see this to capture it or imagine it if you set it up either way it shows a wonderful grasp of this medium it says so much & it tells us that stories are told with the simplest of devices. Excellent.

Mal Smart shot the scene on both the digital and a holga Gerry, kinda prefer the holga one but my scanner is up the swannie, this had a better tonal range tho, so decided to run with it. It was one of those scenes that I thought "Oh! that might work" and it did, just like all my image making pure luck. best to you. mal

Its funny but I've not been very prolific on the shooting front these last 14-16 months and I find myself harking back to my early days (some 20 years ago) of weird and blur, on the few occasions that I do I want to produce mood not technical stuff. Thinking very strongly about dumping the digital all together and going back to basics, not sure what will happen. mal
