Thursday morning I was on my way to pick up the newspaper. Everything was moist and wet, and I spotted this little fly on a small white flower, just outside my bedroom window. It was about 3-4 mm long I suppose. I hurried in to get my camera (or macro-rig some might call it), and got quite a few shots of this fellow.
I used a Canon mp-e 65mm on a 5d mk IIcamera. I also used to flashes (you can see the reflection in the drops on the eyes - flash with an ice-cream box as a difusser). I think I used f. 13 - 200 iso.
Two hours after I shot this picture I went outside again, and the fly was still sitting on the same flower - still not able to fly.
