While the whole bunch of Puffins came in with fish for there chickens this one seemed a little confused and came in with nesting material.

Puffins are my favorite bird, and this is a superb image of one. I love the sharp focus of the head and body set against the obvious motion of the wingtips. It gives a dynamic feeling to the overall image. A huge success, and you've just made me very jealous! Cheers-

Yes these small, very fast and colorful birds are wonderful aren't they.
The in fact are so fast that even with the 1/1250 second shutter speed I used, there still is this motion blur in the wings.

Can't believe I made you jealous with a bird shot like this :)
A man who does work with very beautiful models like you do..........., it's more the other way around :-)

Indeed I was very happy with the fact that there isn't only the blue of the sky in the background, would have been to flat and pale than, but also the yellow and green color tones of the grasses.
