Sieger Joostens Inderdaad! Ben je daar lang geweest, dan?

Reggy Sieger, ik ben in totaal 5 keer in Kyrgyzstan geweest, de eerste keer in 1999 en de laatste keer in 2009.
Het is een schitterend land, werkelijk een sprookje soms. Jammer dat het politiek zo onrustig is op het ogenblik. Zonde voor het land!

Sieger Joostens Ik weet niet veel af van het land. Welke dingen komen er zoal in je hoofd naar boven wanneer je er over praat?

Reggy Sieger, het land bestaat voor 85% uit bergen, maar er zijn ook gebieden die lijken op Mongolie. Een arm volk, slechte infrastructuur, maar iedereen is erg hulpvaardig.
Het is eigenlijk moeilijk uit te leggen in zo'n kort bestek .... het is gewoon een prachtig land !! :-))

I can truly understand how you would love to go back there as I look at the sheer scope and openess of the landscape.

I can imagine the sense of peace and solitude that would infuse your soul as I sit here in the city in my office (sneaking a peak at 1X in my lunchtime) and I long for the countryside as well...

oh man, i wish i was there again too! I'm a much more experienced photog now i'd love to reshoot all kyrgyzstan. I don't know if I could shot something as awesome as this one of yours though ;)

I have been many times in Kyrgyzstan and Xinjiang, they have spectacular landscapes and so friendly people. It's a wonderful world there!
