Fabulous! Those are the Tre Cime di Lavaredo on the right, no..? I went there in July 1978, and this side of the mountain range was completely covered with thick snow. It surprises me every time to see it without snow.

Very nice image Alberto. I tried something like this recently. Looking at your image it seems I was also looking at the Milky Way. First I thought it was a cloud that wasnt moving. Then it slowly..dawned...on me...

Great.. Did you use deep sky stacker? How many photos did you merge?

Alberto Mattiussi Hi Aleksander. I simply took two shots one for the starry sky the other one just to capture a few details from the mountains and then blended together in PS. Very simple. I had other single shots (one is in my !x.com portfolio) with the same quality in the sky but obviously with a silhuette for the mountains. In this case I wanted to obtain something different. Thanks
