Gozo is a very small island near Malta. I saw this woman and asked her if it was o.k. to take her photo. I liked the atmosphere.

This is a wonderful shot for me to look at for a while. I like the DOf mostly on the cat and how the details of the woman are still there...I guess because she is older it is like she is the one receding; I think this was a good and intuitive choice. I also think her expression is quite unique too. Congrats on this capture. My best, Phyllis
