andrea lorenzetti no no this image is part of a photo story on violence against women. Unfortunately on 1x.com the rest of the images weren't you like screening, so you can't follow the story. This is not a controversy to the site as I see it is managed well and not by chance the image quality is high. My work wants to highlight a problem incredibly diversified, pervasive and often protected by social pacification and abetting crimes that are considered current culture, often by women themselves, unknowingly conditioned by the context in which they live.

Purtroppo su 1x.com il resto delle immagini non sono state gradite nello screening, quindi non è possibile seguire la storia. Questo non è assolutamente una polemica al sito che per come la vedo io è gestito ottimamente e non a caso la qualità delle immagini è alta. Il mio lavoro vuole mettere in risalto un problema incredibilmente diversificato, pervasivo e spesso protetto dalla pacificazione e complicità sociale contro i crimini che sono considerati cultura corrente, spesso dalle donne stesse, inconsapevolmente condizionate dal contesto in cui vivono.

Somehow the fokus and lack of it in the eye area of the girl makes the picture less compelling, and therefore underlines the story of strong abuse is really good.

The idea is OK, but I find the execution very questionable. From pure photo point of view no big problem... But to me the concept here is conveyed in a too much "in your face" way. And I find the choice of the model.... hmmmn... Why the heck this sexy girl with high-heel shoes and almost naked ? To me it adds more to the photo "impact value" than it serves well the idea here. And finally it sort of maliciously reverse the roles, so that I am not sure (to say the least) that it is very respectful of the woman position in the overall concept.

In fact, that the picture is good in terms of composition and lighting as well as technical performance and editing
But I see a lot of humiliation and degradation of women in general. This did not like me.
