Colour again?? LOL

Hard, sharp as the subject demands! Fantastic!
Balazs Pataki  I'm in a mood for colours recently... or maybe I'm just bored by BW. Thanks Guido!

It's wonderful. Her raw energy reminds me of my teenage daughter. I would be too inhibited to let go in this way. I enjoy seeing her let go. This freedom is an interesting contrast to the red hammer and sickle on the wall behind her.
Balazs Pataki  Thanks for the encouragement... to me these feelings are still a few years away but they will come, for sure.

I normally find it hard to relate to portraits, but I really like this one... It has a very rough edge and finish.
The rough background, the hard light and the expression gives it a nasty bite. Somehow it triggers images in me of the RAF in the seventies... not sure why though..

I find it intriguing
Balazs Pataki  She might be a teenage rebel but doesn't want to blow things up. At least to my best knowledge... I wouldn't be in her math teacher's place if she had free access to a room full of dynamite. Thanks Willem!

I knew it you are the "RED DOG" AHAHAHAAH!! Man this image is screaming with high impact, intense, Peek moment and a lot of white teeth. This woman has good dental care. :)) Wonderful man. In short its a female with all the right stuff.
Balazs Pataki  Oh yes she is... and I wish I'd had her teeth. Of course at her age I too was beautiful. Thanks man.

...indeed our lucky day Balazs! Not surprised that you found petitelfe's image so inspiring, and your rendition, although obviously related to it's mother image, stands on it's own feet. That exaggerated harshness of the direct light, the graffiti, and the shadows from that hair - all combine to give this such a edge. Young, honest, and carefree. And sexy. Well done.
Balazs Pataki  She's a minor, it's illegal for you to say sexy :)) But harsh light was indeed a challenge. Thanks bro!

Are you a fan of Billy Idol Balazs ?...
I like it. It is funny this one is published now after I saw the link you put to the photo from Chantal (Petitelfe). I immediately thought about it.
Could be little oversharpened. I am not sure with my monitor though (I can't figure out correct sharpness and brightness). Don't know why it has a "Berlin" vibe to me, something related to East-Germany, Berlin wall etc... hard to explain ... Nice shot.
Balazs Pataki  Billy Idol? Actually this little sister is more the white wedding type but I wanted her to look more like shotgun and dynamite :)
Normally I wouldn't argue but the quality has been tested (underwent some critique elsewhere before posting on 1X), and even though it looks way better in huge sze I'm quite satisfied with it - but nothing is ever perfect...
And I admire Chantal's photo for sure.
jacques philippe  The quality comment is relative, Everything published looks oversharpened to me, I think my monitor just sucks...
Speaking of Chantal she is great. And she does excellent nudes for the record. I usually dig nudes when done by female photographers, there is something different. She is a very nice person and she has a website. If you are interested google "chantal serene"
Have a nice w-e.

Amazing with a strong impact here...my only issue is her teeth, they look weird, too much toning?

I would also like to see it in b/w.

Excellent nevertheless.
Balazs Pataki  Thanks Faddoush - being young has the advantage of having shiny white teeth (especially in a tanny face). You'll find a BW shot here:
http://fotozz.hu/teljes_kepet_mutat?Foto_ID=215659
Faddoush  I like this one better.

Even if young, they still look too white, but essential for the scream to take flesh and bone :)
jacques philippe  Hey Faddi. Am I wrong or you are a dentist ? (I think I read that somewhere). If you come in the US you'll be astonished how teen teeth are shinny, at least as much as in the photo here.
Faddoush  Yep, I am an orthodontist...but that is crazy white, it looks more like chalk than white teeth :)

I don't like it
Johan.Nieuwerth.com  This could be a quote from Andy...

Balazs Pataki  Perplexing...
Balazs Pataki  I'm not vain and feel free to tell me if you think it's crap - just tell me why.
You write you're working for a Polish newspaper in the UK, so I take you're Polish, and given your country's history you object the Communist symbol. (Just guessing here of course.) This photo is not promoting the symbol, it's more of an absurd little moment. It's all the more absurd if you take the symbols seriously: "oi" stands for right-extremism (skinheads) and the hammer and sickle for left-extremism. They contradict and mutually neutralize each other, leaving room for expressing the absurdity and chaos of teenage rebellion. We have all experienced that feeling: no matter how and why but we want to be against the rest of the world. This photo is about nothing else.
gretkus  I hope I have right not to like it in terms of composition and lighting , not a concept. The concept is OK but this girl, this model just look like being "staged". Her cry is so obvious, so "cheap" maybe she should have just played his role better. Look at her teeth - overexposed and overcontrasted. I think in Your shot all the light should be recomposed.
Balazs Pataki  Thank you, your kind remarks have been duly noted.
Really cool.
Balazs Pataki  Thanks Frank, glad you like it.

Balazs,

Nice to see you back again on the FP - strong "Shouting of Morals" caught in the picture.
Original title was certainly apt.

Go well.

Colmar
Balazs Pataki  The simpler the title, the better. Thanks for commenting Colmar!

balazs, i had no idea you looked that bad. what've you done to that poor girl! haha

excellent shot!
Balazs Pataki  I told her: "imagine I'm your father and don't let you go to tonight's punk festival" :)
This certainly pops out, like the harshness and the confronting expression, cool.
Balazs Pataki  Thanks Johan - that's exactly what the photo wants to be about.
