I do like this portrait. Sometimes words are not necessary because it is matter of sensations and feelings. I have seen this and the "Growing winds" work and I want to express how much I admire this fresh, talented photographs

Thomas Ljungberg Thank you Manuel. I used a large 1x2m Lastolite Skylite pannel to soften the evening sun. The pannel is just out of frame to the left.

Glad you liked the editing. But there is not much of a secret in it :-)
Basically there are some contrast work using curves and some selective dodging and burning (also using curves) to lighten/darken some areas to enhance the "intensity". Then a b/w conversion and an addition of a duo-tone (done in Lightroom). Resize and general sharpening (there is NO selective sharpening done to any part).

Monique oh yes...if somebody is a good photog....he doesn't need much editing :-)

An image with great intensity!

Thomas Ljungberg Thanks! I have a version with an alternative processing, one in with a muted color scheme. I really like that one as well. I hesitated a long time which one I was to submit, but chose this one for it's "intensity".
