Kim Ayres  I think it's justified - the lighting & DOF and beautifully done and it brings out the texture of the skin wonderfully. Personally I'd have been well chuffed to have taken this image :)

Nice portrait but unfortunately the PS'ed background (where black and white meet at the horizon line) shows.
Kevin Ng  Thanks Jodie - but other than conversion to BW and some curve adjustment - there's no PS here - what your seeing is the end of the bed meeting the dark headboard.

It's hard to beat window light. Affter all its from the heavens and not man made.
