fantastic capture, Clyde. it takes a very good eye to catch that curve in the sand ;)
Clyde Beamer  You are right Daniel, it really makes the shot. I was trudging through the sand to try to find a spot to shoot from and this just jumped out at me. I had imagined a place with more "clean" sand in the foreground, not so much of the bushes. That's how you see this place photographed most of the time. As soon as I saw this curved dune, I knew it was the spot!!

Probably it would have been better with the Nikon 2000/11 but it's still particular... even in this painfully small size.
Clyde Beamer  I probably would have died carrying that thing thur this sandy place. I almost did anyway, really tough walking just to get this far out into the dunes. I'm only a couple hundred yards from the road here. I think you're right I am wanting to see this one BIG myself.

You are an inspiration to me, as is this beautiful b/w photo of Death Valley. I can't get that place off my mind since you returned and started posting images. I want to talk to you about it.

Clyde Beamer  Thanks!! This was my first trip in @30years, I was spell bound! Lucky to get this this good. I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off, shooting everywhere I looked!! I guess I'll have to call this a scouting trip and go back in the fall, getting too hot there now. It was 98 and 96 when I was there in mid-April!!
