Beam me up, Scotty

An incredible evening deep in the mountains, far away from any artificial lights. A wolverine was stalking me and the aurora was as vivid as i`ve ever seen. Looked like it was shooting up directly from the highest peak. This is a rather short exposure, 4 seconds only.

I guess I'm just going to have to trek North. There's nothing stopping me, really. It must be a life-changing event, seeing the northern lights for the first time. This is spectacular.

Stunning! I have always wanted to see the northern lights, but all of my travels to arctic Norway and Sweden, have been in summertime.
This summer I will be hiking Nordkalottleden. Perhaps my next project should be in wintertime.
