OdDoF  Ja, det er herlig. Men det finnes mange andre plasse for å ta flotte nordlysbilder. Ersfjorden er litt slitent etterhvert ;-)

Beautiful vertical presentation of this fenomenom. You mentioned 10´sec aperture. Do these lights not constantly move? (never saw it, was just thinking it did so)

OdDoF  Yes, most of the time the aurora moves around on the sky. I was really lucky with this one, it is rare to get so much fine structure with such a long exposure.

OdDoF  We are approaching a new maximum of solar activity, so the next couple of years should be a great time for viewing the aurora at winter time. Thank you for your comment.

I cannot explain how I'm impressed with this photo.
OdDoF  It really pleases me to hear that. The colors on this aurora are particular for the very end of the aurora season.
