I like the strong b&w!.Not grey is dominant but b&w.

It seems I have a feeling which are yours in the screening already. Even your pics show a certain scenery there is not too much on it. I like that very much. Claudia

Like Andre I think that boy expression is priceless.

sasson haviv yes, his expression is pricless :) i like this image a lot as it shows more about jewish life.. very happy it was allowed here.. it gives more depth when put togather with the rest of my jewish images.. in an exhibition i believe people will stand next to this one and dicuss what is happening.

Hi sasson. Thanks for the explanation. Well done in how you managed to lift this from a mere study to something more special by the way that you included the boy on the right - the way he is looking at the event. That energy and curiousness travels over to the viewer, and makes this alive.

very happy it got published:) one of my favorite images
hgalat kelim means purifying the dishes ,pots.. from hametz(flour and some other grains). this is done before passover and the purification is by immersing in boiling water. during passover there are seven grains that are not allowed to be eaten and that is why the pots need to be purified. it costs about 1.5$ for one basket.

This is my fav in screening, I like it very much Sasson.

Ricky Siegers My first visit was great Sasson, I was in Eilat, Haifa, Tel Aviv, jerusalem and Bethlehem...and some small village (forgot the name :)
New York hmmm....not so bad :) will see my friend.
That you know that Jewish plus the orthodox comunity are quiet big in Amsterdam.
