Excellent shot. Says a lot about man's condition as you call it. I almost wonder if it is really the little kid that he is looking at... probably not.

I am not sure he is looking at the girl either. I remember trying to have an angle that could make the viewer think that, but it seemed to me he was rather focused on his work instead. But also when I clicked he had that head like that, looking upward, but I don't really know...

I was lucky with the baby because in the first place I thought the strollers will make the shot a little too cluttered. But hopefully he could be seen like this on the capture which is nice - and pure luck.

Indeed it was a nice situation, except for the light that was really harsh (the file on 1X looks brighter than on my PC though). It was hot also, not only because of the girls, but we had about 30°C this day (it was last week). It is getting cooler now...

I was a bit late on the spot, had to rush a little to be well placed and hopefully I had a zoom because usually I use the 17mm all the time (smaller length of my 17-50) but here I was happy to benefit from a higher focal.

Indeed these legs were memorable.. and to be honest I don't think the capture does justice to them (and think the man is better captured than the girls). The girl on right was very very thin though, could be she was anorexic. Now I have a pretty big collection of legs on high heels that I don't dare to submit here! I just put few of them on my new website but if I make a serie out of those shot I'll be the voyeur male pig...:) and I can't hide myself behind the "Fine Art Nude Photographer label" ! that is the hard condition of street photographer :))

Seriously I am fascinated with body language (especially that of women, but kids also) and one of the very reason I like to do street-photo.

Wonderful! I have not seen young mothers with baby strollers looking that good in ages! And those high heels too. Taken in the States? :) His vantage point is quite good, though his chances quite poor. :) Excellent capture ..love the high contrast also. :) My best, Phyllis

It's in Boston, Quincy Market, where as you know lots of people use to gather outside when it is sunny. The girls where of Latin origin, not sure they were US citizens.

Phyllis Clarke I read some of the other comments. Glad to see it was the US! I guess it is mating season. :)) Its funny because this is the exact moment I described to Fabio not long ago. From the women's perspective - you walk past construction site and you can hear the hammers' stop. Yes..this is that moment for them. :) I love the light BTW, don't think it is too harsh..it goes with the scene! :))) Phyllis

I have another one like that I did the day before with a street worker and an attractive Asian-type woman passing by. Very similar vibe :) But people here (from New England) are more the silent/contemplative type of guys, unlike the Italian who are more exuberant :)
