Democracy in action ;)
hodorogea  I think you're just jealous :D
gerard sexton  I am not sure I understand?
Paul Hodorogea  :) your comment was somehow sarcastic,
I replied in the same manner.Jealous for our "democracy".
gerard sexton  Oh I get you. Well yes ironic but apologies for the vagueness. And yes thank god we don't get those sorts of responses here I know from talking to other photographers at marches & protests here that our political demonstrations are tame compared to those in other European countries! Well done for capturing this.

I don't really get why this is called "Twitter Revolution", all the less because as far as I remember the Chisinau events were covered quite openly by the media. But anyway this is a very fine and true documentary shot, congratulations.
hodorogea  Not really. Media reported about the event after a few days. But on April 7 police arrested even foreign journalists. You could find out what happened LIVE in the streets only from some personal blogs and twitter timeline tagged #pman (piata marii adunari nationale)

nice moment, great risk. love it
hodorogea  Actually the risk was to get away from the protesters. Protesters were violent to buildings and policemen. In case you wanted to go home, police could grab you, and beat you to death :(
