lucid dreams
As a side effect of the anesthesia with ketamine is that the patient eyes remains wide open during the surgery. This can trigger a strange feeling to the ones that are not used to it.

Ah, ketamine. I've wanted to experience it during surgery, but anesthesiologists can be so particular.

Super photo.

A nice shot, and it seems that it is in a safe hands.
but for the knowledge ,only the human have the dreams,
and BTW,the Ketamine have a hallucinating ,horrifying and terrorizing dreams as a side effect if it is to be used in humans .
hajdu tamas  Thanks for your opinions. I tend to believe that some animals still dreaming. In case of the chimpanzees it is even proved , and the cat and dog even if is not know for sure, we can speak of some reflexes and flashback during the sleep .Indeed, the ketamine can give hallucinogenic effect inducing a "bad trip", but in the veterinary medicine we combine the ketamine with other substances that induce a deep narcosis, and the patient stays calm.
Romanas N.  Not only humans. Say that to anyone who has a dog and he'll think you're a marsian :)

As for the photo - brings up some memories from not so long ago, we had this done to our cat. The biggest surprise was not the eyes, which reained open for a few hours as she slept, but the way the vet tied her :) Nicely done.
