This was taken during the opening ceremonies of "Christmas Stroll." "Stroll," as it's called, is basically a Christmas celebration that centers around the Main St. on Nantucket, with lots of sales, a big tent for (overpriced) food, trees everywhere, that kind of thing. Prime people-watching time since lots of rich folks come in to stay in their houses--and because everyone has cameras, you become much less conspicuous while shooting.
