Mal Smart the funny thing is that the buildings in the background are a steel works that they shut down last week, many people lost their jobs it has had a great impact in the area. Cheers Wulff. mal

It's hard not to like this 'classical' shot. It tells a story too, which - as you know - is something I value very much. BTW, interesting to see people in one of your images;) All in all, good work, Mal!

Excellent Mal, typifies the East coast for me, industry (what's left?) and sandy beaches.

Pity them living things got in the way but you could try cloning them out I guess....

I just commented to Gerry that this is actually the Corus plant in the background at Redcar, they mothballed it last week with over 1600 jobs down the drain, sad times for those folk. Cheers John. mal

Yeah on any evening at a beach touching the edge of our world & this says it all for me at least how nice to just walk listening to the sound of the sea feeling the sand give way beneath our feet even though not so far away industry goes on regardless. Reality! Congratulations my friend.
