Another warm portrait and light. keep on milking...hehehe :)

May be I should start a thread about Iso and low light shots in the forums...
sasson haviv  hey faddoush :) why not.... low light is a rewarding challenge
a 5d mark 2 makes it much easier .... but the moment has to be there as well
i will keep on capturing images :) in the next few months i hope to show a lot more :)

by the way i would like to learn more about the technical part of how iso works.... maybe i can make better choices then to keep the quality high

Mitchell's comment made me smile and think..I love the way that warm light looks on their faces..really..so perfectly controlled to show beauty..so I am thinking I will come to Israel ..:) I need a good portrait...actually it is not so easy to do pictures by candles..and you seem to have mastered this so well! I can imagine a group of children there...Congrats to you Sasson. :) My best, Phyllis
sasson haviv  Mitchell is great and i had great time with him and his wife Tanya. in a few days i learned so much !! you are always welcome here phyllis:) i will be happy to show you around!! i am slowly mastering candle light but i am looking forward to more different low light situations.
Hey man, you're really milking this spot for all it's worth :) as you should. Another good image - I particularly like that we can see the patterns on the column and that great blue light on his hair. I do see a bit more noise/grain than what I'd like, I guess that's what you meant when you were talking about not being so happy with your camera's low light performance. But in the end the thing is - if the image is strong those things become minor. Well done mate!
sasson haviv  hey man :) i figured out aabout 5 more different ones from there for 1x... just signed up for blog and will have a website in two weeks.... thanks for being so helpful!!
the noise is too much... will need to get the 5d mark 2 later on...

I like so much how you capture the "intimacy" of the persons, the souls, the lights, the calm, the serenity .... This is another great from you Sassi.
sasson haviv  thank you Marie:) its always good people that i meet!! their character transfers through
very appreciated my friend!
MMarie  the good attracts the good, the beauty attracts the beauty, if you meet good people, for sure they know/feel you are a good one too. I do believe in kindness, sensitivity, emotions. Your photos reflect this as well Sassi. Best regards. Marie
Mitchell Kanashkevich  Having met Sasson I can really attest to that - he sends off good vibes and I'm sure that even some bad people might actually show their good side to him :)
sasson haviv  was good to have you here:) you are very positive and determined my friend!

U
sasson haviv  thank you Ulf:) this monk is very nice but could be very grumpy i have been told... we connected without saying a word and he allowed me to take his picture and i thanked him.
after a bit of time i heard him coughing quite badly and sice i had had some mentos candies (which i love) i gave him a few... still not a word spoken from him(i dont think he speaks hebrew or english). so i hope that since i know him a bit and already bribed him with candies i may get a better image next time.. always carry some mentos :)
but now seriously i just get to meet great people
