I heard of astronauts, cosmonauts and taikonauts, but what is an argonaut? Anyway, beautiful photograph! =)

Mal Smart it's a Greek mythelogical term Ralf. The argonauts were sailor hero's who sailed on the ship called the "Argo" they had lots of adventures, eventually they joined forces with a Greek prince Jason to seek out a magical golden fleece. Well that's how the story goes anyway. all the best. mal

Mal Smart to be honest Chris, its mundanely simple really. Tripod and shutter release cable, that's pretty much it, the rest is returning to locations over and over to let mother nature paint the canvas. Cheers Chris, mal

Congratulations Mal I find these long exposed images very soothing ethereal even dreamlike & this is no exception. The only minor observation I have is the lower right just throws out the composition simply because of its obtuse angle relative to the horizontals I guess though it was a compromise & the attraction of square that left you keeping it there. Well done did you get wet feet?

Mal Smart i agree Gerry, i looked for a number of vantage point to exclude that element. On this occasion no wet feet but it has been known at this location. cheers Gerry. mal
