I hope the magic and the aura from this guy, gonna bring the comment field back :)
Great portrait Balazs, I am agree with the rest..the lighting is super.
How are you doing?
Balazs Pataki  Yeah, obviously we need some divine intervention for that... Thanks Ricky.

mmmh... not sure the title reflect the mood here. BTW I voted against for this specific reason. May I suggest something like 'idle guy badly shaved and looking at me' © Balazs Pataki, ca 2010. Gelatin silver print 11" x 14".
Great portrait, I really like how the unequal light subtly models the shapes. Very well done.
Balazs Pataki  That's a most fitting title suggestion jaques. It came to my mind to name it "Hamster in my coffee" to confuse people even more.

An excellent portrait, Balazs, wonderful work, I'll come back when you'll have the comment field back ;) I want to know more about this image, indeed...Anyway, it's a fave for me! Cheers!
Balazs Pataki  As I told Vlad: originally, he was wearing a ManU Beckham T-shirt and changed into his robe for the shot. The title for screening was "The Beckham of Ladakh". OK it's a lame title and some screeners remarked that this Beckham thing can't be seen in the photo. It would have been good to add this context in the comments, but the comment field is disabled. Anyway, no title then at all.

I agree with the comment field with you :) Very strong portrait, congrats Balazs.
Balazs Pataki  Obviously we all do, but to no avail. Thanks Serdal.

I like how you worked the light over his face and torso. Element of contentment in his expression. Well done! Would have been good to hear more about this character.
Balazs Pataki  That's exactly why I'm at the same time outraged, pissed off, angry and frustrated about the disabled comment field.
Christiane Anna K. Lepke  What comment field, Balazs?
Balazs Pataki  The comment field normally available under the "edit" option where one would normally describe the context (for example).
Christiane Anna K. Lepke  Oh, that must have been removed recently. But why?
Balazs Pataki  I can't see any reason for that either.
Andre du Plessis  Maybe in the mean while use the title bar....lots of spacing to take it to the next line......then add the explanation. That should work.
Balazs Pataki  Cool. Imagine a landscape taken close to Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch and bearing this name.

great image!
very stong title, too! :o)
Balazs Pataki  Originally, he was wearing a ManU Beckham T-shirt and changed into his robe for the shot. The title for screening was "The Beckham of Ladakh". OK it's a lame title and some screeners remarked that this Beckham thing can't be seen in the photo. It would have been good to add this context in the comments, but the comment field is disabled. For reasons beyond my understanding...

really beautiful light. perfect portrait. bravo.
Balazs Pataki  I'm glad it got through with the slightly cropped underarms. I've seen such a crop in many many portraits but was afraid of the nitpicking in screening. Luckily, they were in a generous mood...
