Great idea, impressive impact. But your EXIF-data (1/1 sec, f/16) is not from this shot ;-) ...
Alexander Kharlamov  It all depends on the flash output, take for example 1/200s for full output and multiply by the 1/32 of the power, you get 1/6400 of the second, much more than enough to freeze falling objects. And you can leave is on bulb mode as long as you want depending on the ambient light.
Frank Waechter  Ahhh, now I see ;-) ... thanks for the good explanation.
Lachlan Kent  The freezeframe was probably achieved with the flash.

this is odd a little...did you throw the broken glass? what was the mechanism of this fracture? :)
AL-Tubaiykh  The way is to throw a glass to another and at the right time which is the time of the crashing you take the photo
sasson haviv  so how many glasses you broke ? :))
i like this image a lot !
AL-Tubaiykh  Probably a hundred or more ;)
Oyvind Hansen  Love your work in this photo. A sound activated trigger for the flash might save some glasses for you.

Very well done, congrats :)
sasson haviv  worth each one of them :) and the cleaning...
Amazing...
