Usually, i don't like macro. But this one is very beautiful by it's colors, composition, and subject.

Ursula I Abresch Thank you, that's a wonderful compliment. I aim to be an abstract photographer, but often don't know what "abstract" really is. :)

Mao The definition I chose to believe is when the fundamental elements of composition are the ones that are felt first : lines, colour, tones, rhythm, scale, repetition, curves, value, etc. etc. etc. Sometimes it can be very graphic and/or moody, recognizable or not. But I think many photos if not all fit in more than one category... I don't really like labels, I just noticed that your name came up often in my favorites albums that I'm building, one category at a time.(makes my page less empty, lol !) ?Have a nice day?

Inspirational. Just curious what plant is that - I don't recognise it.

Ursula I Abresch Tragopogon dubius, yellow salsify, seeds. Indoors, wetted down, partly leaning against a blue IKEA lamp. They were pretty much dead by the time I made this image.

Wonderful I wished that my Canon had this capability.

Ursula I Abresch You can do very similar work by making two consecutive images and blending them in PS. Not quite the same, but similar. Or, buy a Nikon! :)
