Lost in a Warming World? II
Shot around 60 miles off the coast Svalbard in the high arctic. The Cubs are around 6 months old and face an uncertain future in a word that is fast changing around them. LOST?

Oh dear, I hope they make it in life.
Lovely colours, setting, reflections, but a worrying story and sight, so far off land. Can they ever get back?
Dennis_Bromage  Yes they could make it back to land if they wanted to, they swim effortlessly even at this age but they need/want to stay on the pack ice for as long as possible as this is the only place they can hunt seals. Once forced ashore there is little for them to eat so they starve until the ice returns in autumn...

realy awesome shot.
I personally would crop of a bit of the right to lose the piece of ice in the middle on the right.

Outstanding on so many levels. The image itself, the story it tells, the emotion it evokes. A real winner.

Amazing Shot !
After seeing all these movies about the bears lost world, it was the first thing that came to mind, when I saw your photo.
The world as they know it, is about to be gone.
Its Sad !
Its not even mother nature like in the old days...Its US...And it seems that we cant stop it anymore. Its already too late.
Beautifull Shot.
Something to remember.
You were blessed to see it, and even more to photograph it.

Superb capture, the reflections add another element. Hopefully we, as humans, will not impede their existence.
