now i know!
i read about your presentation and it suddenly was clear to me- your photos are reminding me of paintings.(really old ones) And, because you say, that you used to draw,it explains it all.
i adore paintings, but, i can't draw....
And i wish, sometimes, that i was able to make photos that would look like paintings.And you do it perfect....
the most funny thing to me is, that people look like mannequins, like they were not real...if u know what i mean... It just took me some time to dig into them and now, now i really enjoy them....what great stories you have there and a great sense of(black)humor, too.

Peter Kemp Yes I do like painting .. and like you told in former days i drwa a loot When the digital times introduces itself I started taking pics since I can immediately see what the pic is like ... that is great fun and it is quicker than drawing hahahah Now I love story telling pictures where everyone can make its own story... I also like the fifties and sixties times ... so that is what is coming back into my pics Coming / living in / from Delft ( in Holland) the town of Johanes Vermeer I am fond of the dutch old painters like Rembrandt, Vermeer and the others .. so that is what I like and that is what I am trying to recreate into my pics ..sometimes I succeed and sometimes I miss hopelessly ... never mind it is fun to do
