May I ask a technical question here, Daniele? The exposure time says 30 seconds, how come you don't have any star trails but only dots?. I've made 30 second exposures of stars and I got a little trail...Thanks!

Daniele Faccio Where di you see the exposure time? I do not see this info...? I need to double check that it really was 30 secs. I made a number of exposures, and most of them were 20 secs. Anyway, this does not change the implicatiions of your question: you can still get tracks even at shorter times. It really depends a lot on the focal length of your lens. A wide angle lens (I was using a 24 mm) allows you to use relatively long exposures and have negligible tracks. I'm also starting to play around, "steeling" tricks from astronomers: they use lots (even thousands!!) of short exposure pictures and then add them together. This gives you really low noise and nicely exposed stars with no tracks...
