I've looked at this photo several times... and I enjoy it every time I see it. I also just noticed the boy in the green hoodie in the background. I never saw him before but what a great inclusion in your photograph. Excellent

This is a striking and very memorable image. And it is NO snapshot! :-)
It has just that touch of edginess that makes it stay in the mind. A classic in its own way.

She is as big as life itself, robust & complex....Federico Fellini would have embraced such a woman & cast her as his modern day Saraghina's a woman so crude & full of raw sexuality.... that the boys' responses where portrayed with crosscuts between her suggestive gyrations and their initial unmoving shock and subsequent joyful leaping. She is a modern day Saraghina loose in the streets of NYC & only a Winged Oracle as you could flush her from her web....Fantastical portrayal.

A good street shot, but a sad woman and situation--I doubt she's had an easy time in life or any breaks. Prostitute, streetwalker in the rain? Many stories possible, including a model, eh?
wingedoracle  Well life is hard even when it appears easy. One will never know, but after reading your statement i think that would make a wonderful photo story if one could flush out the human interest of her. No tell I guess.

I hope you were not traped in the web! It's so alive. I feel being suffocated because of the smoke! good momentum shot.
wingedoracle  Mina you are too funny. :)) I was on my toes ducking out the way in the rain and cold. There was 8 frames. I was just glad it happened.
Mina  Am I ? I shouldn't be! I just saw the tiger's toe having traced its territory somewhere. anyways she'd been cool in her own sad way! :-)

the spider should be happy there.. great one!
regards, Unggul
wingedoracle  Thanks. I think a spider would have a bumpy time, but in this case ideal to capture while shooting I saw the web pop out and it all fell in place. You have some great images ourself. Cheers

amazing shot! born to be wild :)
wingedoracle  Thanks. I asked a friend once on how to stay alive. He said just get crazy. Hmmmmmm. My thought is never step into the ring without a back up plan now. :))))))) Cheers
drinking_eye  IMO the most special detail in this shot is the smoke flying directly to the NYPD. what a coicidence ha ha :) all the best to you, looking forward to see more of your photography. cheers

Great capture. In your face!
wingedoracle  Hey my friend. I think after we talked and a person from Ireland called one of my images a snap shot I got it right. Sometimes its all in the conversations shared. You both gave me something to think about and thus an outcome. Now I'm published and now I know how it feels, but our conversations are golden and I pray we continue to talk. Its in the quest that bonds good people.

Cheers
