I've gone to Pow Wows for many years and have lots of film shots taken on my old Pentax. Perhaps someday I'll find the negatives and scan some of the better ones. In the meantime, I'll enjoy yours!

Barbara Read Thank-you for your kind and encouraging comment, Ansel! I found the event challenging to shoot. There's so much going on and the backgrounds are mostly horrible, but I learned a lot and hope I can get some time off from work this year so I can give it another try. :-))

Barbara Read Thank-you for the kind comment! Sorry about the confusion regarding the place. This was shot at the Kamloopa Pow Wow which is held annually in Kamloops, British Columbia. The Pow Wow is hosted by the Secwepemc bands representing the Shuswap First Nation.
