Hi Colmar,
This makes me think fondly of a vast farm in South-Africa... freshly-shorn, eating from stubble - they could have been Dorpers!
O, and the picture of it all - your usual excellence.
May 2010 bring more opportunities to enjoy this hobby you clearly love.
Warmest regards,
Johan Meintjes.
Colmar Wocke  Johan,

Smiles here - thanks for your continued support for this hobby of mine. Hope we can go out together often in 2010, to see what we can "catch" with our eyes and lenses!

I find the vegetative dimension both formally interesting and funny. You have used the canvas in a intelligent way. The motive is a little bit boring, but if you give the picture a few seconds of meditation you get in touch with a mood where it´s possible to identify with the wildlife. This is what it is all about for the animals. Eat, eat, eat.
Colmar Wocke  Lars,

Thanks for writing your thoughts - helps me to "re-appreciate" the picture.

I wish you well for your "picture-taking" year next year!

Colmar Wocke  Phyllis,

The'd just been shorn for their wool - that's the cause of the "velvetness".
