what do you want to say here? is it an Art for Art thing? still paying attention to your chosen name "Generations" I wonder if this man is her father. she is still from his same period. some people get easily very soon alienated from their parents or siblings as if they would be living in another fold of time although the same space. {I showed up with my real name this time... Huush is rather a nick name for me}
Jan Oliver Koch  Smoking the pipe is kind of a cultural thing in the Yunnan province of China. As China is changing so rapidly nowadays, I was asking myself if the young girl that was watching the man smoking today would still be able to see this tradition when she will have his age.
Mina  My goodness..it's a beautiful cultural thing! I thought it could be kind of pneumatic musical instrument. Supposedly the Miao, Hani and Nakhi (Naxi). because this is a way too huge for a normal smoker. isn't it!
Jan Oliver Koch  In fact it is a man in a Hani village in the southern part of the Yunnan province. I have seen a lot of men smoking their cigarettes through these water pipes. In fact the little nozzle right from his hand is used to stick the cigarette in.
