This young boy was sitting next to his mother, selling tablecloths at an open-air market. He was a natural little model - I took quite a few of him. I ended up buying a tablecloth from his mother that I will use in summer on my outside table.

Its early morning here and your message has certainly started my day off on the right footing - thanks so much for taking the time to leave your lovely note!

He was the most natural little model out - he is from the Congo and was sitting next to his mother who was selling tablecloths in Cape Town's (South Africa) Greenmarket Square. I asked her/him if I could take a few pictures and the lighting was just perfect - he was sitting under a tent/tarpaulin with bright light into his eyes from behind.

After having taken a few, I bought a tablecloth from his mother - we'll use it in summer on the table outside and then I can think of him!
