Thomas, read your comments below. I think any change in this image would ruin it to be honest with you. They eyes stand out wonderfully, the slight red in the one is wonderful. The comp is perfect for the shot. From darkness to light and him walking towards the brighter half supplied by the open space. The subtle softness in area's works to give a sense of movement that I think someone covered in blood like this might have. I think all things came together to produce a great picture as is. I knew it would be published the second I saw it. Thanks for sharing your image.

To be honest - I'm not happy wih him :-(
Seeing the picture now I'm missing contrast, more focus on the eyes and the whole picture could be a little bit darker ....
Damned - I'm really not good in post processing...
I wanted to add these thoughts under the picture, but unfortunately the function is currently not working :-(
Robert  Hi Thomas. this with the focus and the contrast i noticed and was quite happy to see it published. Seeing some trend and carefully spoken this always tack sharp till the last pixel becomes boring and leaking of life! I mean we looking pictures and we all know there is no perfection in a picture but the needful search for it so when i see a picture which is not that perfect by means improvable i feel happy and well because one thing is clear, if a picture has a almost 100 percent quality but it is boring than it is not balanced and your picture for an portrait is balanced. On the other hand as you see it by your self and take for you and the next time what can be improved than you reach what you want and this is at least the learning factor! It also needs a lot of courage to state this here in public so let me give you my sincere regards and respect!
