Carola, I am pleased that this image has been on the front page every day as it has made me realize so many things..too many to say here..but a few..that an abstract image, can become so many things..the eye can create illusions, and especially when the light is so brilliant as it is here in your photo. This image as been fabric, a flower, lips, and more for me over this week. This goes to show me, that to really 'see' a picture you cannot look for ten seconds or only once..to really know the picture! :) Congrats on this stunning image. Phyllis

i'm sorry if i don't see it but are there any thoughts of yours anywhere for this photo? i can't seem to spot them. i would love to see your thoughts on this, what u saw and came up with when you shot it.

Well, I am a big fan of abstract photographs.
I was trying to find shapes that talked to my senses and light that gives the shot life. I want to create a feeling for the person that looks at my photograph. For me it is not important to know exactly what the motif is, the feeling is what is important. Shapes, color and light in harmony. That is what it is all about for me. Some like it and some does´nt :)
pen  and i certainly i do, i really do see fields of gold and it's sort of funny because it's probably something really different but converted through your eyes. good job
