Spiderman's View
I composed this shot by hanging my tripod over the side of my friend's building and bracketing 7 shots from 4 to 16 sec each then combining for an HDR. I try not to make my HDR images look too over processed. I definitely don't just use simple filters. I love photoshop for post processing images like this. I just want them to look a little different than a single image. I hope you like it! I realize it is a little different then a lot of the beautiful images on this site and I hope that doesn't distract from my efforts put into this image. Even though it is an HDR, it still was processed meticulously to get the effect I desired.

Man, this is nearly brute and such masterpieces have to be banned ...
I'm quite jealously of that motif -> fav!
Nothing for people like me who suffer from acrophobia ;-) ...
jason lavengood  Thank you Mr. Waechter. This is an amazingly nice compliment. While I don't consider this a masterpiece, I really appreciate your comments very much!

I like your shot and admire you efforts. However, "bracketing 7 shots from 4 to 16 sec each" represents only one stop either side of center (unless you didn't fully explain your technique), so that is less than optimal for an HDR image, I think.

If your "center" exposure were 8 secs, then a bracket that includes three full stops either side of center (at the same f-stop) would be 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 seconds. The shorter exposure times would have prevented the highlights from being blown out where the sidewalk meets the store fronts.

Wonderful shot, I love the pov and the scene, however I feel that it is a bit overprocessed with the colours giving it a little fake look.
Nevertheless it is an excellent shot and very original one...congrats. :)
