playtime
I remember one of the loneliest times for me at school was when it was playtime. Looking around to see who and if you could play with someone. I think though it made me learn to like my own company .. I am still very much happy to be in my own world.

This is part of a series based upon my childhood memories.

Liked the child without head, meaning to me that today children are emptyheaded.
Good job.
Deborah Parkin  Thanks very much Nacho for your very interesting comment :)

What a wonderful image Deborah. One that you dont tend to see anymore, like the children playing with marbles or toy cars in the gutter. This is a reminder of a lost chidhood, replaced by computer games, and mobile phones. Such a shame, children miss out on so much nowadays. Keep up the great work a I look forward to seeing more.

Kind Regards Richard
Deborah Parkin  Thanks so much Richard for your kind and thoughtful comment - I am really pleased that you like this image :) I agree too, shame children don't have the same freedom as I did as a child.

Deborah - you awakened one of my most powerful childhood memories with your picture. Living in the city, the local park was my playground and this game my favorite. :) I always did it with friends though..so my memories are little different than yours..Still - in a next life maybe we will play this together! :) I love your photo. My best, Phyllis
Deborah Parkin  Would love to play Phyllis :)
