Guggenheim
Guggenheim.
Hopefully a refreshing view from this well captured building.

My Tri-pod was locked up in the Hotel, cause it was the last day and I decided to go out in the rain and try to get some more moody autumn shots from Central Park. On my way back I went by G again and thought I would try to take some more shots of this building. After I had taken the usual shots from the side and front I wanted to do some Long Exposures as well, not having my tri-pod I had to be creative and laid my camera on the backpack, pointing it almost right up on the street between two parked cars. =]

Taken with my 40D and the sigma 10-20mm. Some dodge and burning before resizing and sharpening for the web.

Very interesting tension created by the fight betweem the 2 totaly different volumes, each with another graphism created by the oposite light contrast.
