Brin,

When a "top-notch" photographer gives a positive comment like this - well, then it "hits home" with me.

Thank you very much for coming past and actually leaving a comment and not only looking. Really appreciated.

Go well.

Clever title Colmar clever image too. For me its the angle that makes it work the nearest edge fading into the top LH corner! I loved Balazs's comment! Nice to see you exploring other avenues! I found that hiring a policeman's or security guards uniform is the antidote to be stopped while shooting! the down side is you get stopped to ask the way. Oh well!

Colmar Wocke  gerard,

Over the years I have had so many narrow escapes with the Police/Security while taking pictures. Recently in London (to which Balazs refers) and about 25 years ago I was actually bundled into the back of their Patrol-car and taken to my place of residence for them to check out my credentials!

What one doesn't do for pictures!

Thanks for the comment and go well.

Andre du Plessis  I have been locked up in a jail twice now - once for challenging the 'super cops' of Jeffreys bay with their new scramblers on the beach. We simply drove rings around them, waited, and did the same again. But they got in a helicopter to see where we stashed out bikes, and into the back of the van we went. Other time for catching fat bass from the pond in front of the 'mayors garden' in PE - the City Hall decorative pond and water feature. I guess we deserved that one!

oh this is great vision Colmar...without the title it wouldn't have as much impact so great thinking on your part...
Colmar Wocke  Morkel,

Dankie - bit of luck played its part here!

Unbelievable! You are so clever with this composition - One of your best for sure. The building looks all encompassing..like it is bigger than a city! Such a great perspective. I am so happy to see your pictures here on this published page. I have a big smile across my face! My best, Phyllis
Colmar Wocke  Phyllis,

Sometimes a little luck helps - had the camera in hand and looked up and it gelled!

As always, thank you for leaving me such a nice and thoughtful comment!

Go well.

A very well capture, Colmar !
Colmar Wocke  Thomas,

Hopefully a few more Architectural shots. I took my wife to Argentina for our 25-year Wedding Anniversary (Silver: Latin = Argentum) and she allowed me to take the camera along!

Thank you for your comment and also help in the past with other architectural things!

Appreciated.

:) brilliant imagination Colmar...well done..:)
Colmar Wocke  Ricky,

The way you have written your comment really means something to me - not just any comment but a comment that actually does something for me and my enthusiasm for this wonderful hobby!

Go well my friend.

Colmar
Very nice this one, love the clean look in your images :-)
/Wulff
Colmar Wocke  Niels,

This clean look is very natural here - the ivory colour is actually the facade of this building and with the heat-resistant glass it ends up being very clean - dead right.

However, thanks for your much appreciated comment!

Go well.

Colmar
Absolutely crazy.

Frank
Colmar Wocke  Frank,

Actually quite a tall building that is a wonderful piece of Modern Art Design, in itself. The sides just looked so much like a piano or organ to me ...

The rest was a bit of luck!

Go well.

Are we witnessing the emergence of a new architecture photographer? Keep up the good work - looking forward to see your first album: "Contemporary architecture - UK prison interiors. A photographic essay by Colmar Wocke". :)))
Colmar Wocke  Balazs,

Let's hope that never turns true - I have actually been stopped a few times in my life by Security people (the one case of course you know about!).

Luck I suppose is what counted here in all honesty (that I did not get arrested again)!

Go well.

Notice I've turned the picture on its side - there's something to be said for that!

Thanks for the favourite and the comment.

Only one word....STUNNING!
Andre du Plessis  Apart from the superb composition there is something so different and interesting about how this creamy coloured building fits into this frame. And then there are those blue-coloured blinds. Quite an amazing image, and for sure something that I regard as special. Good to you for seeing this...and capturing this so effectively.
This goes right to the top of the pile.
Colmar Wocke  Andre,

Right place, right time with camera in hand I suppose, is what did it.

Thanks a ton for the comment!

Go well.

Colmar

Andre du Plessis  It passed by again tonight, as as impressive as before. I see piano written all over this.
Colmar Wocke  Thanks so much for "hearing the music of the keyboard" again!
