every now and then we have to turn our head to something completely different. i like this macro a lot, the waterdrop adds a lot to it. i also like the shape and lines of the leaf that resemble the shape and lines of the ladybug.

Gosh Peter - what a departure! However, there is a bit of assymetry - just wondering if you noticed:)
Glad to know that you look 'down' and notice the little ones as well.

150/2.8 works as 300/2.8 macro lens... interesting experience!

In fact, macro photography was in the BEGINNING of using digital equipment!
After that, I changed to architecture. So the macro is more "old stuff" but I still take these kind of shots now and then :-)

But to be honest, I'm always very proud if a non architectural shot of mine is passing the screening and I bet that you are feeling the same ?

KPK I'm just surprised about the result but it seems as if a lot of macro lovers are among the voters these days :-)
I don't want to be unthankful but the latest architecture upload "The Bridge I" ( http://kpk.1x.com/photos/26928/the-bridge-i/ ) was just rejected (as well as some others during the last two weeks) and I would not be unhappy if the results were the other way round ("Good Morning" rejected and "The Bridge I" published). But I shrug my shoulders and go on taking photographs :-)
