John, I just read your comment that you found these bubbles and pine needle in a small pond. You really made something beautiful of that situation, and it's very clean and graphic in B&W, but I'd really love to see this in colour!

John Colbensen Hi Johan. I chose to make this in B&W because there were so few colours in the first place. Just a tad yellow on the needle and some faint bluish tones on the bubbles. It was more graphic in B&W. But I'll have a second look. thank you for a wonderful comment :)

Really fascinating and a bit different from your side, John.. makes me think of caviar - not the red one though ;).. Have no idea how you managed to shoot it but the result is great :)

John Colbensen Just have to do other stuff too ;) The bubbles came from a little stream (minerals making them I guess) and the pine needle was just laying there on the bubbles. I just "shot" it with my 105 mm macro. Thought it came out great as something graphic. Thank you D :)
